When you're walking with the Lord, you don't need to worry about tomorrow. You can rest assured that your tomorrow is secure. Jesus said: take no thought about tomorrow... (Matthew 6:34, KJV paraphrased). In other-words, donnot be anxious about tomorrow. This is because God holds your tomorrow. God knows and sees your tomorrow; so He said in His Word:
For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).
Another version says:
I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans of welfare and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
So, when you're walking with a God that perfectly knows your future and says it's good, then you don't worry about making elaborate plans, because He's already planned your life and will unfold it to you piece by piece. All He requires of you is to trust Him that your future is well taken care of. You may not know all the details right now, but you have an idie (a reassurance) from His Word. In Proverbs 4:18, God said:
The path of the just is as the shining light, that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day (KJV paraphrased)
The expression "the Just" in the above scripture refers to the redeemed/believers (that is, those who have confessed Jesus as Saviour and Lord, see Romans 3:24/Romans 5:1/Act 13:39). I say to you therefore, relax friend, relax. For some some folks, the reason God may be silent on their future is that if He did otherwise (I.e revealed anything too soon), they would not be able to handle it with the maturity expected. They'd go on and voice it out to everyone and end up attracting unnecessary attention to themselves, resulting in unnecessary battles that may endanger divine plans. So God will rather hold His peace until the timing is right, then He unfolds His next agenda for you and surprise both your friends (I.E those who may be pitying you) and your enemies (those who thought nothing better could become of you).
So friend, the secrete is to rest in God and in His Word with full assurance that your future is covered. You have nothing to worry about! Just keep walking with God step by step, one day at a time, knowing fully well that God is in control. That's how to live the life of faith. Faith in God who holds the future.
We thank God for plans and planning; however, care should be taken that we donnot make our own plans. We must beware of of futuristic plans born out of ambition (self-motivated) rather than vision (God-given).
As we conclude, please recognise that the events of your life are no surprise to God. He's an all-knowing (omniscient) God who sees the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). So there's nothing that happens in your life that takes God by surprise. If you're one of His children, He's working out something great out of whatever may be happening at the moment in your life. God is a master planner and a master craftman at it, so please leave Him to it. Your future is secure in His plans and not your own.
Meanwhile, to become a child of God, you must be born again. That is, you confess Jesus Christ (the Son of God who came to die for the sins of humanity) as your personal saviour and Lord. If you have not don so already, you can right now by saying a simple prayer with faith in your heart.
LETS PRAY:
I believe that Jesus died for my sins and I confess Him as Lord and Saviour. Thank you Lord. Amen.
Congratulations! if you said that prayer, the Word of God says you are now a new creature and old things are passed away. All things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). In other-words, God will never call your past life (sins/faults) to remembrance. They are totally forgiven and forgotten. Check this:
I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. (Isaiah 43:25)
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more (Hebrews 8:12 )
