Isaiah 45:11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
God said to command Him. He rules by issuing commands.
Psalm 148:5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
As a child of God you can also take command of the affairs of your life one day at a time by commanding your day.
How? On the altar of prayer.
King David never lost a battle in his entire life and I believe this is one of his secrets
Psalm 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
Also, when we observe the life of Jesus, during His earthly ministry, we see that He was always in charge. There’s nothing that took Him by surprise any-day because we’re told that:
…in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.- Mark 1:35
He was up a great while before day and prayed. So the rest of the day was a walkover. When he met up with any issue in the cause of the day, with one word from His mouth it was settled - whether it was a sick to be healed, the dead to raise, or a challenge thrown at him by his adversaries or a sudden storm that came up on the sea.
Now here’s one key. As you pray, do not just ask God to do things for you. Make declarations about what you want to see happen for you. Issue commands; make decrees in the name of Jesus (John 14:14) and watch God confirm it for you.
So wake up and take charge of your life one day at a time.
But it all begins with new birth. Prayer begins with relationship with God the father through Jesus Christ the Son.
If you’re not certain that you have that relationship established, you can say this prayer:
LETS PRAY:
I believe that Jesus died for my sins and I confess Him as Lord and Saviour. Thank you Lord.
Amen.
Congratulations! if you said that prayer. The Word of God says you are now a new creature and old things are passed away. All things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). In other-words, God will never call your past life (sins/faults) to remembrance. They are totally forgotten. Check this:
I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. (Isaiah 43:25)
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more (Hebrews 8:12 )
