2Chronicles 19:11B
“…Deal Courageously, and the Lord shall be with the good”
Courage is a spiritual virtue that secures divine backing. That is, if you want to see God in action, then be bold, be courageous. On the contrary, fear or timidity invites the devil. However, courage invites God to intervene in our affairs. This applies to every aspect of our spiritual lives including prayer. In Hebrews 4:16, it says,
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
If you will obtain God’s help on the altar of prayer, then you must come boldly. In other-words, you must come courageously. You will get God’s attention easily when you’re courageous in prayer. By being courageous, you’re simply expressing confidence in God’s ability to do what you expect Him to do for you. And that pleases Him. It says in Hebrews 10:35:
“Cast not therefore away your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.”
In other words, your confidence, boldness or courage in your dealings with God (or in the affairs of life) will be rewarded--it caries a great reward.
For instance, when David came face to face with Goliath, he expressed confidence in the God He served. While others chickened out, He was courageous, so God stepped in and humiliated the adversary. (See 1 Samuel 17). As you express same confidence in the face of contrary issues of life, I see God stepping in to make a mess of the challenges and give you cheap victory every-time. Will you shout a loud Amen!
LETS PRAY:
If you would like to make Jesus, the Lord of your life, Please say this prayer:
Jesus Save my soul; and wash my sins with your precious blood.
Thank you Jesus for saving me.
Amen.
Congratulations if you said that prayer. The Word of God says you are now a new creature and old things are passed away. All things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). In other-words, God will never call your past life (sins/faults) to remembrance. They are totally forgotten. Check this:
I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. (Isaiah 43:25)
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more (Hebrews 8:12 )
If you have said this prayer, we encourage you to get into a bible believing church near you where you can grow in the Lord (1st Peter 2:2 and 2nd Samuel 7:10) . And keep following us on our various social media handles.
Remain ever blessed.
Jesus is Lord!
