A Trustworthy God

 1 Samuel 3:12

“...When I begin, I will also make an end”

That was God speaking to the little boy Samuel. His name is Alpha and Omega (the beginning and the ending).  So When He begins something, He will also bring it to a good end. He does not begin something unless He will make an end. God does nothing halfway.  When He begins, you can be sure that He will make an end.  That’s a trust Worthy God. Halelujah!

You can trust that when God begins something in your life, He must surely bring it to a good end.  He will not abandon you halfway through. And that’s  because His integrity is at stake. God will always prove His integrity in every matter.  That’s why you can trust Him with your life.  He will not leave you midway somewhere to figure it out by yourself.  He promised the disciples of Jesus, “…I am with you always even to the end of time”  (Matthew 28:20B paraphrased).

So you can trust Him with your dreams, goals and even the secrete longings of your heart. Because, He put them there in the first place.

He gave you those dreams, goals, longings and desires because He is well able to bring them to pass, and He will bring them to pass.  He will see them through to a perfect end.  It says in Psalm 138:8

The lord shall perfect [or complete] that which concerns you (KJV Paraphrased).

He said: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending”(Revelations 1:8)

In other words, I am a faithful God.  When I begin something, you can rest assured the end is certain.

So I dare you to put your trust in God.  He will not mismanage your life. He will not disappoint you. Men may disappoint but God will not (He has no such track record).  He is faithful to the end.

Meanwhile, trust begins with a relationship.  You need an active relationship with God before you can begin to put your trust in him.  And that begins with accepting His son Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. If you desire to have this relationship, shall we pray?

(Please say the following prayer and mean it from your heart):

I believe that Jesus is the Son of God who came to die for my sins, and I confess Him as Lord and Saviour.  Thank you Lord for saving me.

Amen.

Congratulations! if you said that prayer. The Word of God says you are now a new creature and old things are passed away. All things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). In other-words, God will never call your past life (sins/faults) to remembrance. They are totally forgiven and forgotten. Check this:

I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. (Isaiah 43:25)

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more (Hebrews 8:12 )

A Living Wonder!

 Zechariah 3:8

“Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are MEN WONDERED AT…”

In the new testament era, Jesus Christ is known as the “Apostle and High Priest of our profession…” (Hebrews 3:1) That is, He occupies the place of the High Priest today. For He ever liveth to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25, paraphrased). That means we believers are the Priests. According to Revelation 5:10, we are redeemed as kings and priests to reign on the earth. As such, in reference to our main text (Zechariah 3:8), the “fellows” of the high priest is referring to us the redeemed of the Lord. And the text says:

“…they are men [and women] wondered at” (Zechariah 3:8, paraphrased).

In other words, if you’re a child of God  (you’re saved), you are destined to be a living wonder on the earth. You are a man or woman wondered at.   It doesn’t matter your present situation.  The scriptures cannot be broken; men will wonder at you.  That is to say, the events of your life will cause people to wonder at you.  They will acknowledge that God is with you.

We conclude with a text from Isaiah 8:18. It says:

Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders…

You are specially packaged by God for a wonder life. You may not look like it at the moment, but that is your divine destiny. So receive that into your spirit and walk in that consciousness and it will become your experience. Good-news is, the wonder life begins from now onward. Not only will you be an amazement to those around you, you’ll become an amazement to yourself. Let your Amen! Shake the ground where you are. It’s a new season for you!

Congratulations!

LETS PRAY:

If you would like to make Jesus, the Lord of your life, Please say this prayer:

Be Courageous!

 2Chronicles 19:11B

“…Deal Courageously, and the Lord shall be with the good”

Courage is a spiritual virtue that secures divine backing. That is, if you want to see God in action, then be bold, be courageous.  On the contrary, fear or timidity invites the devil.  However, courage invites God to intervene in our affairs.  This applies to every aspect of our spiritual lives including prayer.  In Hebrews 4:16, it says,

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

If you will obtain God’s help on the altar of prayer, then you must come boldly.  In other-words, you must come courageously. You will get God’s attention easily when you’re courageous in prayer.  By being courageous, you’re simply expressing confidence in God’s ability to do what you expect Him to do for you.  And that pleases Him.  It says in Hebrews 10:35:

“Cast not therefore away your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.”

In other words, your confidence, boldness or courage in your dealings with God (or in the affairs of life) will be rewarded--it caries a great reward.

For instance, when David came face to face with Goliath, he expressed confidence in the God He served. While others chickened out, He was courageous, so God stepped in and humiliated the adversary.  (See 1 Samuel 17).  As you express same confidence in the face of contrary issues of life, I see God stepping in to make a mess of the challenges and give you cheap victory every-time.  Will you shout a loud Amen!

LETS PRAY:

If you would like to make Jesus, the Lord of your life, Please say this prayer:

Jesus Save my soul; and wash my sins with your precious blood.

Thank you Jesus for saving me.

Amen.
